Living nature of Tasmania

My most favorite place is Tasmania, Australia. There are some kind of exotic animal. Well known animal are Tasmanian devil, wombat, wallaby, echidna, platypus and they have already been extinct animal that is Tasmanian tiger.

I have seen a lot of natural wombats, wallaby and echidnas, but I haven't seen the another one. It still left untouched nature. So if you've been to there, you will mostly see natural animals.

Most of Tasmania's mammals have a pouch on them stomach. It called pouched animal or marsupial. It's very interesting about direction of the pouch. Some of the pouched animal's direction of the pouch points to the head, some of them direction of the pouch points to the bottom. For example, wallaby's pouch points to the face, the other way wombat's pouch points to the bottom.

Four-footed pouched animal's direction of the pouch must be to the head, two-footed pouched animal's direction of the pouch must be to the bottom.

There is another exotic animal which name is Blue Tongued. As the name suggests, they has a blue tongue. I didn't know them until recently. I'd like to know why their tongue blue is.
