Awakenings

Today's movie is "Awakenings". Japanese title is "The morning of Leonard". It tells the true story of a doctor who discover beneficial effects of the drug.

One day the doctor discovers that people who can't move body by self have reflex catching a ball.

As well as he gave new drugs to patient name Leonard who lives on catatonic state about 30 years, then Leonard was waked up by the doctor miraculously.

However Leonard had gone catatonic state again. This time he had known about he will go back catatonic state. Of cause he didn't want to go back it. It's agonizing and feeling lonely movie.

The role who Leonard is Robart De Niro. His acting was amazing. He has to act catatonic state. There was no uncomfortable feeling. I wish there was more miracle things.
